Find below the introduction to our weekly guests, questions we asked them, some memorable quotes, links to connect, and the gallery of their AI artworks.

  1. What’s your background and how did you get into AI art?

Very early, I found myself inspired by the beauty that envelops us, whether it be the intricate patterns found in nature or the harmonious compositions of Modernism architectural marvels.

As I wandered through the lively streets of European cities like London, Madrid, Milan, and Lisbon, I absorbed the visual symphony unfolding before my eyes. It was during these explorations, visiting museums, galleries, and fashion streets, that my passion for aesthetics grew stronger.

I owe this love for beautiful things to my mom, who sparkled in me a reverence for the visual arts from an early age. “The beauty is in the details,” she often reminded me. My mom’s been my biggest inspiration and my ultimate fashion icon. Thanks to her, I got obsessed with fashion, design and traveling — from a very early age I wanted to start my own brand.

Those childhood memories still warm my heart and remind me why I love fashion so much. It’s not just about looking good, but about expressing yourself and bringing joy to others. With the power of AI, I am now able to fulfill both of these aspirations, creating captivating and innovative AI Fashion and Jewelry designs with soul, which I expect one day to become physical garments.

It was during the spring of 2022 that I had the lucky encounter with Midjourney, an invitation extended to me by my colleagues. It was as if I had stumbled upon a hidden treasure! This non-code tool allowed me to breathe life into my wildest imaginings. Like a fashion designer discovering a new fabric that holds endless possibilities, I found myself immersed in the world of AI, its technological wonders opening up a myriad of artistic avenues.

2. What drives you to create?

What drives me to create is a blend of past experiences, present joy, and future possibilities. The memories of childhood fascination, the fulfillment of artistic expression in the present, and the potential for innovation in the future. It’s a continuous journey of growth and the desire to make a meaningful impact through my art.

Drawing inspiration from the latest fashion weeks and the visionary designs of my favorite brands like The Row, LOEWE, Toteme, and Maison Margiela, I am constantly fueled by boundless creativity of the present moment. (If you haven’t yet explored the Loewe collection featuring the lovely and surreal Pocket Elephant and Pocket Jardinier, I highly recommend it!)

The harmonious fusion of aesthetics, unconventional touches, exquisite fabrics, and serene color palettes showcased by these brands deeply resonate with me. I have a profound desire to create something extraordinary, something that celebrates humour, minimalism, the poetry of our memories and freedom of the body.

Enamored by the creative genius of the French designer Jacquemus and his sunny, hedonistic designs, I am drawn to his ability to strike a delicate balance between realism and sensuality. Jacquemus´s designs play with size and shape, like oversized straw hats and innovative silhouettes, and capture the spirit of a modern woman, confident and playful.

Vintage jewelry is also a huge inspiration for me. I love exploring flea markets in Paris and discovering unique pieces with rich histories. The aesthetic of Paris as a whole inspires me too. And let’s not forget the warm light in Rome. I’ve never seen that kind of light anywhere else, it’s like a golden glow.

3. What does your workflow look like?

My workflow in each project is a dynamic process that begins with inspiration and the cultivation of personal taste. When I create art, I watch runway shows, browse Vogue, listen to TedTalks, and learn new words in Italian. I constantly seek out references, staying up-to-date with trends and exploring various artistic disciplines.

Then I dive into the creation phase. As mentioned earlier, one of the key tools in my creative process is Midjourney that allows me to generate a multitude of images and explore different possibilities. I create thousands of variations, experimenting with colors, shapes, and compositions until I find that one image.

From there, it’s a process of polishing. The meticulous attention to detail is crucial in creating a final version of the AI artwork that meets my standards of excellence. I carefully fine-tune the piece when enjoying a rooibos tea and indulging in chocolate.

4. What is your favourite prompt when creating art?

One of my favorite prompts to explore are the “timeless elegance” and also “minimalism”. In our fast-paced lifestyle, we often overlook the subtle beauty and tranquility that exist in simplicity. Through my AI Jewelry and Fashion designs, I strive to capture and convey those moments of calm and serenity. It’s like creating a visual oasis, a refuge from the chaos of the world. I find solace in creating AI artworks that transport people to a dreamlike state, where they can pause, breathe, and find a sense of peace and joy.

5. How do you imagine AI (art) will be impacting society in the near future?

I believe that the future of art and fashion intertwined with AI holds immense potential for transformative experiences. As technology evolves, so does our creative expression, opening up new avenues for experimentation.

The fusion of human creativity and AI’s capabilities is an exciting frontier, and I think it will reshape the artistic landscape in ways we can only begin to imagine. Personally, I cannot wait for the day when I can adorn myself with ethereal elements like sun, moon, or the stars for the next interview with the AI Art Weekly!

6. Who is your favourite artist?

One memory that remains etched in my mind is the encounter with a captivating sculpture by Jaume Plensa. Its ethereal presence and serene beauty left a strong and beautiful mark on me. It reminded me that art has the power to transcend the physical and touch the realms of the soul the way words cannot express.

I also adore the films of Sorrentino for their monumental presence in every frame. I simply love his full frames, juicy contrasts, costumes, and a genuine passion for Italy. And I particularly like his quote,

“Life is short, and you have to stay in beautiful places as much as possible!”

7. Do you have a specific project you’re currently working on? What is it?

Currently, I am fully immersed in an exciting endeavor — an extensive collection of NFTs titled “JEWELED.” I am happy that it has recently gained a feature in the NFT Now and is currently being exhibited in NYC as part of the AI Surrealism exhibition.

In this post-photographic collection, I go beyond physical reality and dress diverse models in fantastical timeless jewelry that totally breaks traditional rules. My goal is to make these AI jewelry pieces feel transcendent, blurring the line between the physical and the surreal virtual world. I fearlessly embrace the infinite concept of beauty as I recognize its power as a tool for evoking emotions and forging deep connections with my audience.

To unveil and explore the collection, I am utilizing the Blind Drop tool on Foundation marketplace. This unique feature allows collectors to uncover and engage with the pieces upon their release, heightening the anticipation and excitement around the artwork.

My mission is really to invite the viewers into a world where fashion becomes a transformative experience, evoking a sense of empowerment and self-expression. Through my AI Fashion and Jewelry designs, I hope to capture the essence of the sunshine that flows through the streets of Paris, carrying with it the irresistible aroma of fresh croissants. I would love this luminous energy to permeate the hearts of those who engage with my AI pieces, evoking a sense of warmth and elegance.

8. Would you tell us about the AI Surrealism exhibition?

AI Surrealism is an extraordinary exhibition happening this month in New York, bringing together 100 AI artists to showcase their groundbreaking artwork. Hosted at the iconic and visually stunning The Oculus building by Santiago Calatrava, the exhibition is a collaboration between Superchief Gallery NFT and Exquisite Workers, a digitally-native collective I am a part of.

Curated by Anna Dart and Roger Haus, AI Surrealism invites artists and the audience to explore the modern world through the surreal lens of AI technology, echoing the visionary spirit of the Surrealists from the past. I am thrilled to have the opportunity to exhibit alongside esteemed artists such as Roope Rainisto, Anna Condo, and Jenni Pasanen.

For my piece in the exhibition, I drew inspiration from the surreal master, René Magritte. His surrealistic vision and thought-provoking concepts have guided my imagination in creating my artwork titled “JEWELED Magritte’s Sky,” which is available as an open edition on Foundation marketplace for the next few days in the curated page next to 139 other AI artworks.

Participating in AI Surrealism is a significant milestone in my journey as an AI artist. It is an incredible opportunity to be part of shaping the future of AI art and contributing to the evolving art landscape. I feel honored and grateful.

9. Anything else you would like to share?

I would like to share a piece of advice for fellow AI artists: Embrace the spirit of hedonism! Take pleasure in the gentle caress of the sea breeze, the tender aroma of freshly baked bread, the indulgence of delightful cuisine, the exhilaration of travel, the joy of connecting with new individuals, and the enchantment of exploring captivating books.
