Superchief NFT Gallery: The First AI Art Show in South Korea
Presented by the Los Angeles-based NFT Gallery, showcasing works by talented female artists from the Exquisite Workers Collective
Seoul, Korea— March 14, 2023 — In March, 2023 the global AI art community has celebrated the inaugural AI Art exhibition in South Korea presented by Superchief NFT Gallery at Dongdaemun Design Plaza in Seoul. The exhibition featured a collection of ground-breaking artworks generated using this advanced medium is on display as a part of the Asia number one NFT Conference, NFT Korea Festival on March 7-8, 2023. This event was a significant occasion that showcased how AI can be used as a form of artistic expression and provides a rare chance to observe the innovative and experimental artwork produced by AI.
The NFT Korea Festival 2023 brought together leaders, artists, and enthusiasts in the Web3 and NFT industries from across Asia. The festival featured over 120 top NFT artists, including renowned AI creators such as Claire Silver, Ganbrood, Nikita Panin, Anna Condo, Stephan Vasement, Tu.uk´z etc in collaboration with Superchief Gallery NFT, the first physical IRL NFT gallery in the US.
The festival offered a great networking opportunity, with star guests and speakers from the Web3 and NFT industries sharing their visions and ideas for growing a healthy Web 3.0 industry. Participants could also enjoy various events, such as the NFT artists award, Blue-chip NFT airdrop event, and an after party.
Superchief NFT Gallery is an independent artist-run gallery that has been supporting underground artists and enabling them to participate on the global stage since 2012. In 2016, they opened their first digital art gallery to establish digital artwork as a legitimate voice in the art scene and discourse. The gallery is very active in the industry and has held many major events with OpenSea, Superrare, Foundation, and others with the recent events such as the Art Basel Miami 2022 and NFT Paris 2023.
At the first NFT Korea Festival visitors could experience a unique and innovative NFT display through a breath-taking 8 meters-high digital Monolith installation in the center of the hall, brought by Superchief NFT Gallery.

FEMALE AI ARTISTS FROM EXQUISITE WORKERS ON DISPLAY
“No Sun, No Name #21” by Anna Dart
Anna Dart is a multidisciplinary artist, curator, and futurist who focuses on promoting ecological, cultural, and social sustainability through the intersection of new technology. With over 11 years of painting experience, her art is known for their minimalist and humanistic style, yet with a powerful magnetism and expressiveness that reflect on digital humanism. Dart is a guest artist at Picasso Museum and The Fabricant, co-founder at Exquisite Workers, and the Winner at the 1st Claire AI Contest. In 2022, her work was exhibited in Art Basel Miami, 0x Society, and Seattle NFT Museum etc. Anna shares about “No Sun, No Name #21”: “The humans become free when the night goes down. AI female characters look as real and mesmerizing. But they do not need any sun, not even flesh, blood, light and warmth. They are everything.”

“Recognizing Differences” by Leyla Ruh
Leyla Ruh is a 26-year-old AI artist based in Turkey. Leyla Ruh graduated from art school and used to do graphic design and create animations. Leyla uses AI as a way to reflect on the reality around and explore her own inner world. Ruh is faschinated by brutalist architecture and in her art, she transports the viewer in the dreamlike interior environments in which the nature coexists with humanity in harmony. “Celestial Veil” by Moonchild
Nani Tamoona is an illustrator, character designer and AI artist. Under the pseudonym “Moonchild” she creates art imbued with the spirit of nostalgia for childhood. Each art hides the mystery of the intersection of fantasy and reality, depicted in bizarre shapes and proportions. She shares about her work “Celestial Veil”: “A tapestry of stars and light, A web of magic, pure and bright, A veil that shields the heavens’ might, From the eyes of mortal sight.
